I went snow boarding on Thursday with my cousin and Brother-in-law. We went to seven springs near Pittsburgh (as close as I ever want to get to the place). This is first time this year i've gone. We wanted to do a day trip to a local mountain but its been too warm and snow-less so we had to drive. Since there were three of use with gear I bought a Thule cargo carrier from a guy on Craigslist. Here's a picture of one on a truck like mine:

It worked great big enough for three boards in their carrier bags with plenty of room to spare. I think I will leave it on until ski seasons is over. Its not hard to install, but I would have to lift it up into the loft and also find a spot to clean out for it there.
It started snowing pretty heavily after the sun went down, but I had my best run of the day at that point.

One last item. At the Hampton Inn we stayed at there was this sign by the elevators. The last sentence was: "The fire alarm will sound like a loud siren." As opposed to what? A quite siren or a loud screaming man, or a pleasant high pitched bird call? Was it really necessary to describe the fire alarm?
